Obituary

Charlie J. Lecuyer, 85, of Stuart, Florida, passed away October 7, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.

Born in Toms River, New Jersey, he had been a resident of Stuart, for more than twenty-five years, coming from his birthplace.

A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served in the United States Air Force.

Prior to his retirement he was a Manager for the Toms River Water Company, and was an exempt volunteer member of the Toms River Fire Company #2. He was also a former member of the Lions Club and Ground Swipers Rod & Reel Club of Toms River.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty-four years, Evelyn, who passed in 2008.

Survivors include his children, Linda Cone and her husband, Don of Okeechobee, Florida, Cathy Small of Bayville, New Jersey, Jane Chambers and her husband, Bill, Kim Lecuyer, and Charlie Lecuyer, all of Toms River; two brothers, Ray Lecuyer and his wife, Betty Jo, and Richie Lecuyer, both of Toms River; one sister, Rita Grove of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
