Charlotte Welch, 81, of Spanish Lakes in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for twenty years, coming from her birthplace.

Survivors include her beloved husband of sixty years Robert Welch of Port Saint Lucie; two sons, Robert Welch, Jr. of Hammond, Indiana, and Martin Welch of Greencastle, Indiana; one daughter, Joni Gilman of De Motte, Indiana; three sisters, Margaret Young, of Chicago, Gloria Norton of Hammond, and Glenda Prigge of Chicago; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son John Welch and three brothers, Glenn, Michael, and Edward Kimble.

Services will be at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart, Florida.
