Chea Lyn Scott, 52, of Jensen Beach, Florida peacefully passed away with his sister by his side on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Chea was born in West Palm Beach, FL on Valentine's Day 1973 and he always had the largest, most generous heart.  He greeted everyone with a deep, warm hug and ended every conversation with "I love you."  Chea never knew a stranger and everyone was his friend.  He was a hard-worker and would always be the first one there to help out when needed, bring over a meal, or offer a place to stay.  His quirky sense of humor could always make you laugh.

His parents, Lynton G. Scott, Jr. and Berenice McRae Scott, welcomed him to Heaven with open arms.  It was a glorious reunion with them and his many friends that have gone ahead of him.

Chea is survived by his beloved son, Tyler Lyn Scott and his sister, Deidra "Dede" Scott McCaslin.  Chea and Dede could argue like cats and dogs, but there was never any doubt about their deep, unbreakable bond. His cat, Mackey, is heartbroken without Chea to provide her treats on demand and to cuddle with at night.  She certainly had Chea wrapped around her paw.
