Christine Marie (Ernst) Kastrup, 54, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on March 28th, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Florida/ Weston Hospital in Weston, Florida after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, she was a resident of West Chester, Ohio prior to moving to Stuart and Port St. Lucie in 2011.
She was a woman of many talents and trades for which she used in a variety of jobs including travel agent and sales. She was led by her kind heart and willingness to help others, which guided her to work in various medical offices including Cincinnati Children's Hospital and, most recently, Cleveland Clinic Tradition as a Patient Services Representative.
Those who knew her called her Chris or Chrissy and knew she loved and cared for those around her deeply. She would do anything in her power to help them. She loved to laugh and be with others. She loved to travel and always wished to spend her time on vacations, particularly cruises, surrounded by family and friends. She spent much of her time over the years at various sporting and school events with her children. She was thrilled to become a grandma in 2020 and prided herself on her children and grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
Survivors include her 4 children, Andrew Kastrup and fiancée Amber of West Chester, Ohio; Megan Ravindra and her husband Harsha of Tallahassee, Florida; Allison Howard and her husband Alexander of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Kevin Kastrup of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her mother and step-father LuAnn and Ernest Rich of Stuart, Florida; her sister Tammy Rich and her husband Jeffrey of West Chester, Ohio; her 4 grandchildren Bennett, Adley, Asher and Easton; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years David Kastrup, her father Terrance Ernst, and her grandparents William and Luella Harris and Mark and Elaine Ernst.
