Christine Louise Schwab, 59, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2014.
She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Chris was preceded in death by her father, Charles G. Maphet and her first husband Andrew E. Kobus.
She was a resident of Tenafly, New Jersey, for thirty years.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Gerard K. Schwab; and her adored children, Susan Schwab, and Peter Schwab.
Chris had many professional accomplishments, but the title she was most proud of, and the role she cherished the most, was "MOMMY".
Chris endured many years of illness and disability. When she could no longer endure life, death came and set her free.
There will be no service, at her request. Instead, she prefers that, if you are able, you go out for a walk, or a run, or ride a bike, or take a hike! And think about how much she wished she could still do those things.
Chris would be gratified if donations were made to Camp Michikamau, in care of YMCA of GBC, 360 Main Street, Hackensack, NJ, 07601, so that more children will
have the opportunity of the life-changing experience of summer camp, as her own children did.
