Obituary

Clinton G. Bush, Jr., 91 of Palm City, Florida, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at his home with his family.

Affectionately known as "Bob", he was born in New York City, and lived in Oyster Bay, Long Island and Palm City.

His undergraduate degree was from Syracuse University, with additional graduate work at Columbia University. He worked in the lumber business, the prefabricated housing industry, industrial design of construction materials, large scale housing development, and ultimately in energy efficiency consulting.

He was an accomplished horseman and sailor.

In his retirement years, Bob worked tirelessly for the Elliott Museum, the Maritime and Yachting Museum, and Martin Memorial Hospital, all in Stuart, Florida.

Bob is survived by a loving family including his wife, Hanna; three children, Cathie, Clinton, and Porter; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will take place Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 9:00 am at the Memorial Cemetery of Saint John's Church, 1704 Route #25, Laurel Hollow, New York 11791.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 S.E Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994.

Contributions as a Memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997 (tchospice.org).
