Clive Wilson Summers, 86, of Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015.

Born to Wilson and Francis Summers on July 2, 1929 he was the loving and devoted husband to Joan Pilenzo of 40 years.

A graduate of Mackenzie School in Detroit, Michigan, he attended Wayne State University, earning a Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor degree.
Following his graduation from Wayne State University he opened a law practice in Dearborn, Michigan. He loved all phases of the law and handled a variety of matters for both businesses and individuals. After retiring from the practice of law in 1990, he moved to Florida and resided in Palm Beach Gardens and Hobe Sound.

He received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army and was a Disabled American Veteran. He served as a reserve officer in the Dearborn Police Department.

An avid boater, he was a member of the United States Power Squadron. His active involvement led him to the position of District Commander for a region that stretched from Vero Beach to Key West.
He loved fishing, golfing and spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his son, Kevin, wife Kathy and grandchildren, Shannon and Christopher.

His family will remember him as a loving man who deeply touched their lives and those of others. He was charismatic, engaging, and always willing to do for others. His legacy has and will impact generations.

A prayer service is scheduled on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994.
