Clyde Samuel "Sam" Graves, 79, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on November 19, 2022 under the care of the Hospice House in Fort Pierce. Sam was Born in Bristol, Tennessee on January 15, 1943 to the late Edna Randall.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Miriam Graves, his sister Elaine McNamara, his brothers Ted and Gary Graves. He also is survived by his children: Erik Klein, Cindy and Eric Perez, grandsons Brandon and Mathew, and great-grandson Ambrose. Along with nephews Tommy and Daniel McNamara, he leaves behind many more family members who will miss him dearly.
He spent most of his childhood in Arcadia, FL. He graduated from Manatee College with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics. He ran track and was an avid bowler. He loved all types of auto racing and was an avid football fan (Go Canes!) He was a sci-fi geek and aerospace enthusiast.
Sam honorably served our country as a member of the Air Force. But he was a hero to the family for more than that. Sam once saved his mother and siblings from drowning in a car accident.
He was a devoted husband and father. Most of all, Sam was a father figure to so many and opened his home and heart to those in need.
Sam is preceded in death by his son Christopher Graves, father Harold Graves Jr., mother Edna Randall, Brother Harold Graves III, and his sister Nancy Barham.
Arrangements were made under the care of Seawinds Funeral Home in Stuart, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sam's honor to the Hospice House https://www.treasurehealth.org/292/Donate
