Constance H. Richardson's Obituary
Constance H. Richardson, 81, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12th, 2015, at home with family by her side.
Born in Warsaw, New York in 1933, she was the oldest of six children; Connie married Robert Richardson in 1951 and raised three children before getting her Masters degree in Library Science. She rose to head librarian at the Pittsford-Mendon High School where her hobby was researching and exploring the Erie Canal.
In 1988, Connie moved to Port Saint Lucie and started as a librarian at the Port Saint Lucie Library and eventually became the Branch Librarian for the Saint Lucie County Library System, working out of the Morningside Library.
She is survived by her two sons, four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren, who remember her with fondness and love.
The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Treasure Coast Hospice whose guidance was immeasurable.
Services and Interment will be at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
