Curtis L. Williams passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024 in Stuart, FL surrounded by family at the age of 77. He was born in Centreville, Mississippi to James and Johnnie Mae Williams where he remained there until graduating high school. He joined the United States Navy at the age of 17 and served his country with great pride including serving in the Vietnam War. After concluding his term in the Navy, he worked on ships searching for oil across Europe and South America eventually leading him to meet his future wife in a small island in the Mediterranean Sea. They fell in love, got married, had their daughter and son while moving around to different states until ultimately ending up in Florida. He worked as a welder/metal fabricator for over 45 years providing for his family and was a good husband and father. He was a quiet man who enjoyed golfing, clay shooting, running, reading, crossword puzzles, watching tv/movies and just spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Josie, daughter Melanie Rodriguez (Tom), son Ian Williams (Christina), two granddaughters Brianna and Abigail Howe, his brother James Williams (Renae), as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased in death by his parents, grandparents and mother and father in laws.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home.
