Dallas Shauan, 58, of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away on October 14th, 2020 at Jupiter Medical Center after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Dallas was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on January 16, 1962. His family moved to Florida when he was 10 and he graduated from Gulf High School in New Port Richey, Florida.

Dallas is survived by his wife Jane Shauan and four siblings. He was an employee for 30 years with the Florida Park Service. Dallas served at St Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park as a Florida State Park Services Specialist for 20 years. Before that he was a Park Ranger at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park and Jonathan Dickinson State Park.  He was dedicated to the parks he served and always had a positive outlook.   In his spare time Dallas enjoyed fishing, wood turning, and exploring nature wherever it may be.

Dallas was an active member of the New Beginnings Community Church. He was the leader of the church greeters. He was immensely loved and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life for Dallas will be held at a later date.
