Daloma M. Dowdy, 80, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on March 17, 2020 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Daytona Beach, Florida, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 16 years coming from Leesburg, Florida.

She was homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Bill Dowdy and his wife, Keri of Port St. Lucie, Bradford Dowdy of Glades County, Florida, Martha Clements of Merritt Island, FL and Daloma Council and her husband, Paul of Port St. Lucie; her sisters, Hilda Reed of Stark, FL, Mary Price and her husband Eddie of Orlando, FL and Ellie Taylor of Savannah, GA; her brothers, David Taylor of Georgia, Mark Taylor and his wife Joyce, Clyde Taylor and Lloyd Taylor, all of Orlando; her grandchildren, Danielle White of Virginia Beach, VA, Daloma Poe and Ashley Cooley both of Kalamazoo, MI, Bobby Gene Council of Fort Pierce, FL, Mikaela Council of Port St. Lucie, Krissy Smith of Orlando and Lauren Dowdy and Julia Dowdy, both of Port St. Lucie and 13 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Dowdy Sr; her brother, Matthew Taylor and her sister Elsie Johnson.
