Daniel M. Lussier, 63, of Stuart, Florida, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.
Affectionately known as "Butch", he was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, and had been a resident of Stuart since 1972 coming from Barton, Vermont.
He was employed as an Equipment Operator for the Engineering Department of Martin County, Florida, for twenty-three years at the time of his death. Butch was employed earlier by Mosley & Son Construction for approximately ten years in Stuart, Florida. He also participated for twenty-one years with Landmark Worldwide in causing transformation for thousands of participants in different programs.
He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Nicole C. Lebeau of Stuart; his mother, Alice Mongeau of Granby, Quebec, Canada; His sister, Lyn Marie Lussier also of Granby; two brothers-in-law, Michel Lebeau of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, and Guy Lebeau of Rock Forest, Quebec, Canada; and one sister-in-law, France Lebeau of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Lussier; his brother, George Lussier; his father-in-law, Henri Lebeau; and his mother-in-law, Therese Lacas.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 12 noon to 1 PM with a Celebration of His Life will take place at 1PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida.
