IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel John
Phillips
September 5, 1967 – March 16, 2023
Daniel (Danny) John Phillips, 55, passed away on March 16 th , 2023, at his home in Stuart, FL surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born in the beautiful Beirut, Lebanon on September 5 th , 1967, and was raised with his baby sister, by their more than amazing and fierce mother, Salwa Farah before coming to the United States in 1985. Daniel was known for not only his contagious personality but for his piercing green eyes that stood out because of his naturally sun-kissed complexion. Daniel was trilingual, speaking Arabic, English, and French. In his earlier years, Danny was a diving instructor as well as a stockbroker.
In 1994, Danny became a father to his only daughter, who was blessed with his piercing green eyes, and who he proudly raised on his own.
Throughout his entire life, he was a lover of the sea and all its treasures which led him to open his own business, crafting offshore trolling fishing lures which sold not only around the United States, but around the world. Danny spent a lot of time on his boat, diving, fishing, and spending Sundays at the sandbar. He also spent most days with his grandchildren, loving on them and teaching them about life on the sea. He was the best father, grandfather, brother, and son who joined his mother in their afterlife.
Survivors of Danny include his only daughter, Coral Salwa Phillips, his baby sister, Suzy Salwa Phillips, his 3 grandsons, Miguel Hernandez Jr. (12), Noah Daniel Phillips (7) – (who was named after him), Sebastian John Phillips (8) – (who was also named after him), and lastly, his only granddaughter who he spoiled with much love, Layla Rose Tedesco (1).
Danny will be missed not only by his family, but by many lifelong friends. The world lost a gem!
