Daniel Troy Lerro

February 14, 1960 – March 4, 2021

Daniel (Danny) T. Lerro, 61, of Stuart, FL, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021. After fighting a 13-year valiant battle with leukemia, he knew it was the end of his journey. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to South Florida with his wife in 1989.

He was a meat cutter by trade for 17 years. Followed by his hard work for Kraft Pizza, for 13 years, and ended his career with work family at Sysco Food of Southeast Florida over the past 14 years. He took great pride in all that he did. Known and loved by many in the community, he was extremely caring, kind, compassionate, generous, and hardworking. He attracted new friends where ever he went and sustained many lifelong friendships. He was always the life of the party and made everyone laugh, his smile was infectious.

Anyone who knew him, knew he was not a fair-weather fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and later for the Florida State Seminoles. Gooo Noles! He spent his summers in Northern Wisconsin, where he enjoyed fishing and being on the lake.  He enjoyed staying active, working out, and golfing. As well as many travels around the world, with his family, with Italy being one of his favorites. So next time you have a glass of wine, please raise it to Dan.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leanne Lerro, and their daughter, Kayla Lerro. As well as his mother, Natalie Lerro, mother and father-in-law, Diane and Skip Reinhart, his three sisters, Denise Roane, Donna Leonetti, and Diana (Marc) Ashe and his nephew, Steven, and nieces, Crystal, Natalie, Brittany, Lauren, and Deena. And his beloved grand-dog, Ruby. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Lerro.

Secondary to the global pandemic, a Celebration of Dan's Life will be held at a later date.
