David E. Hillner, 75, of the Monterey Yacht and Country Club in Stuart, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he had been a resident of Stuart for sixteen years, coming from Scituate, Massachusetts.

Prior to his retirement, he was the Manager of the Meat Department for the Stop & Shop Supermarket in Hingham, Massachusetts for forty-two years.

He was an active member of the Monterey Yacht and Country Club Condominium Association, serving as a Board Member, and also a member of their golf and bocce club.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-five years, Theresa Hillner of Stuart; eight children; eighteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 Se Monterey Road, Stuart, where a Reception will follow on the Funeral Home Veranda.
