David Harold Pierce, 83, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce.

Born in Lackawanna, New York, he had been a resident of High Point for ten years, coming from Davison, Michigan.

After pastoring for many years, he and his wife Marilyn retired to Fort Pierce.

He was a member of the Grace Family Church in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Survivors include his beloved wife, of sixty-four years, Marilyn G. Pierce of Fort Pierce; five children, David T. Pierce and his wife, Brenda of Fruitland Park, Florida, Kathy E. Vermander and her husband, Ken of Metamora, Michigan, Deborah R. Porritt and her husband, Melvin of Fort Pierce, Steven W. Pierce of Quartzsite, Arizona, and Richard P. Pierce and his wife, Bonita of Tipp City, Ohio; his sister, Jennie L. Taylor and her husband, Bruce of Raleigh, North Carolina; his brother, Timothy B. Pierce and his wife, Rebecca of Hudson, Florida; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 6-8:00 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994

A Celebration of David's Life will take place on Saturday, November 5th at 2:00 pm at the Grace Family Church, 6300 West Torino Parkway, Port Saint Lucie.

A Graveside Committal Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the White City Cemetery, Sunrise Boulevard at Bell Road, Fort Pierce.
