David Uhle, Jr., 86, of Port Saint Lucie, FL passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce.

Mr. Uhle was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran, proudly serving in the U.S. Army during WWII; 488 Army Corp of Engineers. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1949 with a Bachelors in Business Administration.

David has been a part time resident of Port Saint Lucie, FL for nineteen years, and had been a permanent resident for three years, coming from Maple Glen, PA.

Prior to retirement he was a manufacture's rep in the automotive aftermarket and founded Uhle & Clark Inc. He was a member of the Masons and the Jesters, and an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife Erma L. Uhle of Port Saint Lucie, FL; two sons, David Uhle, III of Hatboro, PA and Dean Uhle (Joanne) of Blue Bell, PA; three grandchildren, David Uhle IV, Claire and Curtis Uhle. He is preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy Louise Uhle.

Service: A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at First Congregational Church, 2401 SE Sidonia St. Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
