Deborah Lee "Debbie" Redditt, of Palm City, Florida, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday March 9, 2016 at the age of 56. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and the world is lesser for her passing.
She is survived by her husband Jamie, her children Johnathan and Jillian, parents Richard and Patricia Newton, and siblings Richard Newton II and Shellee Mead.
Debbie was born May 2, 1959 in Hollywood, Florida, and moved to Stuart in 1973 with her family. She graduated Martin County High School in 1977, then met and married the love of her life Jamie in 1983.
She was a multitalented individual and never stopped learning. Debbie pursued various passions throughout her life. She earned an Associate's degree in Physical Education at IRCC. She became a dietitian, sold real estate at Laviano & Associates Better Homes and Gardens, and most recently opened the Stuart Shooting Center with her husband.
Debbie had a dynamic, vigorous personality, and was known as the "Family Social Director" due to her organizational skills. Her husband Jamie referred to himself as the head of Stuart Shooting Center, but said Debbie was the backbone of the company.
Debbie loved sun and fun activities, especially taking cruises in the Caribbean. She and her family travelled to numerous islands. Debbie especially enjoyed their excursion where they made many family memories.
She also loved the Florida Keys, especially Key West. Debbie adored going through the shops on Duvall Street, sometimes to the amusement of her family.
