Deena Messinger, 78 of Palm City, Florida passed away peacefully in her home on June 23, 2022. Born in Long Island, NY, she held a Bachelor's Degree in Education and worked at KinderCare Learning Center as both a teacher and later a Director. She dedicated her life to her family and was influential to both her students and colleagues. She was also very involved in the Martin County Republican Women's organization and a supporter of the VFW in
Stuart, Florida. Her hobbies included traveling and she enjoyed playing Mahjong with her dear friends.

Deena is predeceased by her parents Gustave and Helen (Fettke) Arfanis of Palm City and her first husband John Messinger, Sr. of Red Bank, NJ. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Koeller of Palm City, her loving children and their spouses: Donna and John Tran of Lake Worth, FL, John Jr. and Joanne Messinger of Jackson, N.J. Christina and John Laneader of Turnersville, N.J. and her step-children Paget (Koeller) and Martin LeBouef, and Steve Koeller. Deena also leaves her cherished grandchildren: Nicolas and Alexander Tran, Kristina (Messinger) and Ben Ashby, Ryan, Chase and Myles Messinger, Anthony, Andrew, Alexis and Arianna Laneader and her adored great-grandchildren Kaylee and Charley Ashby. Deena also leaves behind her treasured sibling and baby brother John Arfanis (Julia) and her precious nieces Joanne (Arfanis) and Peter Buys, and Daniela Arfanis, Amber and Sorin Boboc. Deena has touched many lives and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
