Demetrios Papadopoulos of Stuart Florida passed away on July 5 ^th , 2022 in Stuart Florida. Demetrios was born in New York City he had been a resident of Florida for the last 40 years.  For the majority of his career he was a flight instructor for Eastern Airlines but he also owned a billiards hall, a limousine company and drove a taxi along with his father.  During the Korean War he served as a US Marine and was honorably discharged.

He enjoyed 90 years to the fullest with many friends and relatives.  His hobbies were golfing, cards, reading, creating stained glass and traveling among others.  And he loved going to the casino!  He and his lifelong friends had a zest for life and good times. He was co-owner of a dog named Zorba who he adored.

He leaves behind by his wife Viola, his son John and wife Tammy, daughter Christina and husband Michael.  He leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Demetrios, Nicholas, Alexander, Philip and Peter all of whom he cherished.
