Dennis James Meade, 66, of Jensen Beach, Florida, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.

Born in New York City, New York, he had been a resident of Jensen Beach for eleven years, coming from Staten Island, New York.

Dennis was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a Military Policeman in the United States Army.

An avid hunter, golfer, and fisherman, he was sweet, kind, and loving man to all of those he met.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Kathryn Maldonado, of Jensen Beach; one son, Dennis Meade, Jr., of Las Vegas, Nevada; his mother, Jean Meade, of Jensen Beach; one sister, Donna Raia, of Rockledge, Florida; two brothers, Gregory and James Meade, both of Staten Island.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Meade.

Private Graveside Services with Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida, at the convenience of the family.
