Deodatt Badal, 73, of Pickering, Ontario, Canada, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the home of his daughter, in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Born in Newtown Enmore, Guyana, he was a Canadian resident, who enjoyed winters, staying with his daughter, Chandra, in Port Saint Lucie.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Budhia Badal, who passed away in 2012.
Survivors include his son, Sunil Badal, and his wife, Rupa, of Florida; three daughters, Mala Persaud, and her husband, Kamal, of Canada, Chandra Singh, and her husband, Krishna, of Florida, and Bunty Diaram, and her husband, Vijay, of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Ashley, of Canada, Kevin and Aiesha, of New Jersey, and Andrew, David, Amanda, and Mathew, of Florida.
Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 5-8:00pm and again Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 9-11:00am at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am Thursday.
Cremation will immediately follow at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Crematory at the Funeral Home.
