Dolores M. Machesko, age 78 of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at home after a lengthy illness. Dolores was born February 9, 1935 in Beaver Meadows, PA, daughter of the late Steve and Stella (Yuschak) Kovalick. Along with her husband, Dolores came to Port St. Lucie, FL from Long Island, NY in 1989. She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking and loved her pets. On September 10, 1955 in Hazleton, PA, Dolores was united in marriage to her loving husband of 57 years, John Machesko, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Deborah Machesko of Port St Lucie, FL and her son, John D. (Marie) Machesko of Port St Lucie, FL; grand children, Matthew Gilbert, John S. Machesko, Joseph L. Machesko and Sarah M. Machesko; sisters, Esther Petrole, Jean Pendleton and Geri Thabit. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Machesko. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice (1201 SE Indian St; Stuart, FL 34997).
