Donald S. Bailey, 87, of the Sandhill Cove community in Palm City, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

Born in New Rochelle, New York, he had been a Florida resident for 35 years coming from Long Island, New York.

He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Prior to retirement Don was a Real Estate Appraiser in Bayport, New York, earning the MAI and SREA certifications.

He was a member and past president of the Rotary Club in Sayville, New York.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, Lilly Ann (Barker) Bailey of Sandhill Cove; his son, David Bailey and his wife, Jacqueline of Sayville, New York; his daughter Diane Clark and her husband, Dale of Palm City; his son, Douglas Bailey of Longwood; his brother, Robert Bailey and his wife, Chris of Texas; his grandchildren Alexandra Van Holtz and her husband, Eric of Milwaukee, Oregon, Daniel Clark of Baltimore, Maryland, Erika Parker and her husband, Chip of Islip Terrace, New York, David Clark of Palm City, Katelyn Bailey of Los Angeles, California, Joshua Bailey and Julia Bailey of Longwood, Florida.

A Celebration of His Life with Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Army Military Honor Guard will take place at the Pavilion of Sandhill Cove in Palm City, at 11:00 am on Saturday February 15, 2020.  In lieu of flowers family requests contributions as a memorial be made to the Sandhill Cove Scholarship Foundation, 1500 SW Capri Street, Palm City, Florida 34990.
