"Tom" Donald T. Barnhart, July 10, 1940 – August 6, 2024, peacefully passed away at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, FL.  Born in Latrobe PA, he was the son of Donald and Madalyn Barnhart.  Tom was preceded in death by his wife Jan.

After retiring from Blue Cross Blue Shield in Pittsburgh Pa, he and Jan moved to Port St Lucie where they enjoyed their many years of retirement.  Tom was the past president of the Three Rivers Rotary club.  During his time with the rotary he and Jan sponsored several foreign exchange students.  Tom enjoyed riding his BMW motorcycle and shooting at the rifle range.  Tom and Jan were avid travelers and traveled throughout the US and Canada in their airstream.  They also enjoyed many European river cruises.

Survivors include his brother Dale and wife Mimi of Wellington FL, his sister-in-law Kathy Spangler and her husband John of Pinehurst, NC. and four nephews and two great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL. 34981.
