Donald Livingston Bennett, 70, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on July 23, 2019 at Palm Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Port St. Lucie.

Born in Jamaica, W.I. he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for over 16 years coming from Copiague, NY.

Before retiring he was an electrical engineer with Smith Aircraft in Farmingdale, NY. He was a member of New Life Worship Center in Port St. Lucie.

Survivors include his son, Donald L. Bennett Jr. and his wife, Hazel of Sanford, FL; his daughters, Nareen Bennett of Atlanta, GA, Ingrid Bennett of Orlando, FL and Chanice Childers and her husband David of Glen St. Mary, GA; his grandson, Jaylyn McGhee of Orlando; his brother, Lascelle, of Jamaica; sisters, Ruth,of Wyandanch, NY, Marie Anderson and her husband Glenford of Jamaica and
Myrtle Smith and her husband Alvin of Port St. Lucie.

Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Hamlin Bennett, Winston Bennett and Rupert Bennett and his sisters, Dorothy Bennett Phillips, Nora Bennett Brown and Winnifred Bennett.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, FL., where there will be a Service 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 10 ^th. , Interment will follow in Fernhill Memorial Gardens, 1501 S. Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL. 34994
