Donald Roscoe Adams, 75 of Hobe Sound passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart.

Born February 26, 1942 in Bradley, South Carolina, Donnie was the son of Vernon Randolph Adams and Rosalie Floyd.

He was a self employed general contractor.

Donnie was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Jupiter/Stuart. He would entertain others with his knack of storytelling. Often referred to as "Honest Don" he seemed to know everyone when he walked into a room, he never met a stranger. To know Donnie was to love him.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary K. Adams; daughters, Traci Adams and Erin Adams; sisters, Shirley, Lula, Audrey, Hettie and Roslyn; brother, Jimmy; grandchildren, Joshua, Katrina, Michael, Nicholas, Breann, Brandon, Brittany, Derrick and Dalton; and great grandchildren, Crystal, Scarlett, Logan, Clayton, Colton, Noah and Desiree.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Rosalie; son, Danny; daughter, Tonya and brother, Joe.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will begin at 2 PM at Fraternal Order of Eagles,340 Hibiscus Street, Jupiter, FL 34958 on Sunday, June 25, 2017.
