Donald L. Duso, 87 was called to heaven by the Lord. He passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024. Donald was born and raised in Jericho Northern New York to his parents Charles and Julia Duso.  He resided in Syracuse NY until 1986 when the family moved to Stuart Florida.

Donald was a truck driver for 30 plus years in Syracuse, New York. In his spare time, he enjoyed making pizza at the Villa Restaurant in Syracuse, New York. Donald was also a member at the local American Legion. He enjoyed many Saturday nights dancing to his classic country songs, and playing horseshoe with the guys, winning many horseshoe tournaments. Donald worked hard all his life often working two jobs to support his family. Donald always was an antique collector he had a love for vintage cars. Donald loved his family very much and always enjoyed everyone together.

He is survived by his wife Janice Duso daughters Debbie Duso Nicholson, Donna Duso Soyk (Thomas), and Dena Duso Syler (Gerald). Grandchildren Jesse Nicholson, and Kaz and his wife Veronica Soyk, Granddaughter Taylor Syler Vanderbilt and husband Mathew Vanderbilt, his brother Carl Duso. He had several nieces and nephews. Donald is predeceased by his parents, his oldest brother Joseph and sister-in-law Regina Duso, sister Mildred Duso Hagen,his grandson Zakary Soyk and his sister-in law Debra Duso.

A Celebration Of Life will be Thursday, November 7,2024 6:00 PM, Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home.
