Donald L. Johnson, 65, of Stuart, FL passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Born on June 10, 1950 in Wausau, FL, he was the son of Lewis Bill and Zola Johnson. He moved to Stuart when he was three years old.
Donald was a commercial fisherman.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Bonnie Johnson; children, Robert Johnson and wife, Becky, Alesha Johnson and companion, Jason Hitchcock, and Mark Johnson; step-daughter, Christy Bowe; grandchildren, Melissa Sutton, Tory Hitchcock, Ella Johnson, Dulcie Johnson, Christopher Hitchcock, Jay Lyn Hitchcock, Ashley Bentley and David Bentley; great grandchildren, Quanti Jones, Lily Sutton and Joey Sutton; and sister, Louise J. Phillips.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Bill Johnson; mother, Zola Long; brothers, Curtis Lee Johnson; sisters, Mary Lois Murphy and Irell Jackson.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will begin at 2 PM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Sandsprit Park, 3443 SE St. Lucie Blvd., Stuart, FL 34997, casual dress is requested.
