Obituary

Donald Joseph Lolio, 79, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he had been a resident of Florida for thirty-five years, coming from his birthplace. He lived in Jacksonville, Stuart, and Port Saint Lucie most recently.

He honorably served his Country as one of "The Few, The Proud" a United States Marine.

Prior to his retirement, Don worked as a Machinist at the Jacksonville Naval Airbase in Jacksonville, Florida for seventeen years.

Survivors include his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Barbara Ann Lolio of Port Saint Lucie; two sons, Donald Lolio of Providence and James McQueen of Jacksonville; three daughters, Janet De Donato of Windsor, Vermont, Susan Gorton of Cranston, Rhode Island, and Barbara Ann Duggan of Winchester, Virginia; one brother, Albert Lolio of Cranston; five sisters, Virginia Mitchell of Texas, Betty Burr of Warwick, Rhode Island, Shirley Cabana of Providence, Beverly La Pierre and Kathleen Reyes, both of Warwick, Rhode Island; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Lolio, and three brothers, Wallace, Edward, and Kenneth Lolio.

Services will be at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart, Florida.
