Donna Bernadette Audain

(April 16, 1951 - August 10, 2025)

Donna Bernadette Audain, 74, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, was called to her eternal home on August 10, 2025, after passing peacefully in her earthly home.

Donna was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad on April 16, 1951, to Hubert and Elaine Audain. Donna attended St. Benedict's Girl's School in Trinidad and continued her education through courses at the East Orange General Hospital to pursue her career as a legal secretary. Growing up she was always a fighter and stood up for others, a fashionista, and a beautiful dancer. She emigrated to the United States in 1969 to East Orange, New Jersey where she lived until she moved to Chesterfield, Virginia, and finally settled in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Donna made her career in working as a healthcare secretary until retiring. Donna was known for her loyalty, determination, and dedication to those she loved.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Elaine Audain; her daughter, Lorraine Brathwaite; and siblings, Hubert Audain, Desmond Audain, Leo Audain, Mable Audain, Mervin Audain, Christine Audain, and June (Buddy) Audain.

Donna is survived by her sons Stanley Brathwaite and Tarik Audain; grandchildren, Elijah Smith, Andrew Smith, Khadijah Johnson, Octavia Johnson, Katrina Ritter, Tarik (Lil Rik) Audain Jr., Khalif Audain-El, Dakari Audain-El, and Lorraine Audain; great grandchildren, Khori'Ana Reynolds, Khadi Reynolds, Izayah Ritter-Barnwell, and Mckinleigh White; siblings, Yvonne Robinson, Elizabeth St. Lewis, Roston Audain, Marilyn Harrigan, Carver Audain, and Genevieve Audain-Serrette; amongst many other devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The wake/viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 5pm-8pm at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Rd, Stuart, FL 34983. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 11am at St. Lucie Catholic Church, 425 SW Irving St, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Please plan to arrive at the church by 10:45 am.
