It is with immense sadness that the family of Donna L. Kwortek announce her passing on July 19, 2023, at Treasure Coast Hospice.  She was a beautiful soul and will be lovingly remembered and missed by her Family and Friends.

Born in Westmoreland City, PA, in the same home her mother had been born. She and her family moved to Isabella, PA and at the age of 15 she met the "love of her life" Andrew "Korty" Kwortek.  Donna and Korty raised their daughter and son in Isabella.  They moved to Stuart 37 years ago, where Donna began a career opening the first Walmart in Stuart as a Customer Service Manager and soon promoted to Personnel Manager.  She touched so many lives and changed them for the better with the employees always the center of her focus helping with benefit coverage or personal issues.  She retired in 2001 to enjoy time with Korty and her children and 3 grandsons.  She had a strong circle of lasting friendships that she always enjoyed long lunches with or crafting.  Donna lived by her moto "its nice to be nice".

She and Korty were founding members of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Stuart, where she volunteered in the Religious Gift Shop.  She was also a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.

Donna was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Andrew E. Kwortek Sr.  Survivors include her son Andrew E. Kwortek II and his wife Irene of Crawfordsville, IN; her daughter, Toni Lynn Scholze and her husband Bill of Stuart, FL. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great grandson, Andrew E. Kwortek III and  his wife Martha, Jonathan N. Kwortek, Chase W. Scholze and Maddux A. Krug; her sister, Norma Petro of Hobe Sound, FL.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony J. Stock, Jr., Merrittstown, PA, her sister Shirley Ann Stock, and her parents Anthony and Emma Stock.  Additionally, she leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 27 2023 at 11:00am at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Stuart, FL.
