Doris Hamilton Lisle, 98, of Stuart, FL passed away January 10, 2026.
She was born on February 5, 1927, in Quay (Winter Beach) Florida. She was proud to be from a family of Florida Pioneers, farmers, and citrus growers.
After World War II, she married her childhood sweetheart, XO Lisle, Jr. They were married 53 years. They did everything together, worked, and had fun. They owned citrus groves, Martin County Oil, and Ox Creek Ranch. Doris Loved her family and friends, the outdoors, fishing, boating, seashells, traveling, crocheting, gardening, the river and the ranch.
She was one of the founding members of the "Buoy and Bars Boat Club". Doris was a member of the Florida Cattlemen's Association and the PEO Chapter P.
Doris was survived by two daughters; Judith Bozeman of Okeechobee and Debra Larsen of Port Salerno; and one son XO (Buddy) Lisle III of Palm City. Also, one sister, Mary Earman of Vero Beach. Granddaughter(s): Heather Kenney of Port Salerno; Brandyn Bozeman of Arizona; Grandson(s): John Bozeman of Atlanta; Zachary Larsen of Port Salerno; XO (Raybo) Lisle, IV of Palm City; Benjamin Lisle of Palm City; Seven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
A "Celebration of Life" Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, at 10:00 am at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home (950 SE Monterey Rd; Stuart, FL)
Her wishes were to: "Mostly make donations to Florida Cattlemen's Association and PEO Chapter P; and a few flowers, Because I love Flowers…"

Her ashes will be buried next to her husband XO Lisle, Sr. and her parents at Winter Beach Pioneer Cemetery in Winter Beach, FL.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband XO Lisle, Jr; her father; George A Hamilton; her mother Beulah M Roddenberry Hamilton; siblings, Franklin Hamilton, Emery Hamilton, Flaverous Hamilton, Willis Hamilton.
