Doris H. Long, 80, of Forked River, NJ and Stuart, FL passed away Saturday, March
26, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
She was born December 9, 1935 in Plainfield, NJ, the daughter of Wilfred and Helen
Orton. Doris worked for the Ocean County Court System as a clerk prior to
retirement.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors include her son, David H. Long and his wife Paula of StuartÍ daughter,
Cindy M. Bard and her husband Richard of Forked River, NJÍ her brothers William A.
Orton and Harry T. Orton and his wife AnnÍ nine grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Long, Jr. and daughter,
Kathleen I. Weaver.

1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services will be in Forked River at a later date.
