Obituary

Dorothy E. Clagett born October 18, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA to Catherine and Andrew Hicks; went to be with Jesus on March 28, 2021 at her home in Port Saint Lucie, FL. She was 97 at her passin g. Dorothy fought valiantly for two years against colon cancer.

She is survived by her daughters Margaret M. Weiss and Joan P. Medl. Her sons William J. Clagett Jr. & Robert J. Clagett. Her grandchildren Sherrie A. Stein, William J. Medl, and Robert Clagett Jr.

She was preceded by her husband William J. Clagett Sr., her daughter Katherine T. Phender and her 11 siblings.

Dorothy loved the Lord. Each morning and afternoon she would spend time in her daily devotions and prayer. Each evening she would watch television with her neighbor. She loved the Hallmark channel, Lawrence Welk, and her daily soap operas every afternoon.

May God bless you and may God be with you Mom as you pass from this world into God's presence into eternity with His Holy Spirit.

You have been a wonderful mother to all of your family. We will miss your wonderful spirit, your caring heart and your beautiful smile. We pray that your love and kindness will always remain in our hearts forever. Your memories and your spirit will always be with us and we will never forget you.

Mom you fought a wonderful fight and stayed with us as long as you could. As much as we don't want you to go we know that this is your time now. We don't want you to suffer any more and we want you to be at peace forevermore.
