Dorothy I. Hansen ("Dottie"), 81, of Hobe Sound, FL passed away peacefully on April 18, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born in Warren, Ohio on November 27, 1937. She attended Niles McKinley High School and proudly obtained her GED at the age of 60. Her most recent employment was as an Assisted Living Aid at the Manors of Hobe Sound. Dorothy loved to dance, swim, sing and travel. She loved living life to the fullest with all of her children, and most of all, loved to laugh. She was involved in the Oral Roberts Ministries, and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at the VFW Post 10132.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Son, David C. Russell and his wife Gail of Niles,Ohio. Her Daughters; Dorothy Russell of Dania Beach, Florida, Darla S. Tabor of Hobe Sound, Florida and Debbie Greto of Hobe Sound, Florida. She is also survived by her Grandchildren; David J. Russell, Jessica Russell, Andrew Dudek, Kristina Greto, Nathaniel Greto, and ten Great Grand Children. Sister; Mrs. Lavina Bierworth of Aurora, Ohio. Her beloved dog and faithful companion, Chi Chi.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the VFW Post 10132, 6101 SE Dixie Hwy. Stuart, FL 34997 on Sunday June 23rd, 2019 from 1pm - 4pm.
