Dorothy M. Poirier passed peacefully at home on May 20, 2020 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida at the age of 82.

Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Florie J. and Elsa (Aceto) Sechio; loving mother of Christopher Poirier and his wife Sara-Anne of Warwick, RI and Michael Poirier and his partner Daniel Salerno of Port Saint Lucie, FL; grandmother of Sam and Olivia: dear partner of Richard Joly and sister of the late Gilbert Sechio, F. Michael Sechio and Robert Sechio.

Dee Loved sports of all types and was a passionate golfer in her later years.  Always the life of the party with a distinctive laugh that was infectious.  Originally from North Providence, RI, she lived most of her life in East Greenwich and Coventry, RI before relocating to Florida. She will be sadly missed by all her friends and family.
