Dorothy J. Sempier was born in Paterson, New Jersey on January 20, 1932 and died peacefully at home on March 13, 2021.

She lived in Palm City, Florida coming from Wayne, New Jersey. She graduated from Lodi High School, the Sherwood Secretarial School, and attended Rutgers University.  She worked for the Bank of Manhattan (now Chase Bank) as a private secretary before retiring to raise a family.

Dot was a fantastic wife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Palm City Presbyterian Church, the Monarch Country Club, and was one of  the original volunteers in the Martin Memorial Hospital Ombudsman program. Dot also traveled to a number of Countries in the world with her husband during his working career.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Robert of Palm City;  two sons, Robert of Stuart, Florida, and David and his wife, Kathleen of Palm City; her daughter, Lisa Monid of Clearwater; her sister, Joan Reid of Stuart; and 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Jacqueline Keller of Clearwater, and Emily and Eileen Sempier of Palm City.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.
