Edna Jude Harmon, 78, passed away peacefully after a 14 month battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family on July 13, 2013. A native of Martin County, KY, born January 31, 1935, she lived in Fort Pierce, FL since 1981. She was a homemaker and volunteered her time at the Mustard Seed Ministries. Edna is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Oscar Harmon; her daughter, Shirley Harmon Helton of Hutchinson Island, FL; granddaughters, Jessica Helton McGuigan of Vero Beach, FL and Jaime Helton Rhing of Orlando, FL and three great-grandsons, Alex and Luke McGuigan and Charlie Rhing. She is also survived by two brothers, John and Gary Jude; four sisters, Glendean Kirk, Helen Moore, Juanita Fannin and Lucille Cline. She was preceded in death by her son, Duane E. Harmon; grandson William Zachary Harmon; parents Dave and Ethel Jude; brothers, Carl Edward and MacArthur Jude; sister, Edith Justice. Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice (1201 SE Indian St; Stuart, FL 34997.)
