As the clock struck 11:09 PM on February 19, 2018, God's heavenly angels flew down to escort my beloved fly boy on his final flight. Though our hearts are breaking we know that he passed in peace surrounded by the love of all those whose lives he touched.

One of the final things he said to me was that he wanted no one to be sad but rather to rejoice in the life that he had, the friends that he made and those he embraced as family. If you were in the circle of love you were family.

So I say to you smile when you think of him, feel warm and comforted knowing he loves you and rejoice in his life well spent.

I know he will be looking down on all of us hoping we do the right thing but first and foremost that we love our families and that we tell them we love them every day. I love you Edward and will miss you every minute of every day of the rest of my life. You filled my life with laughter and love.

Born July 22, 1925 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Preceded in death by his parents Madeleine and Walter Sr., his late wife Jane W Dudlik, his brother Walter R Dudlik and his beloved son Edward R Dudlik Jr.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of nineteen years Marilyn (nee Hasler), his sons Norman Dudlik and Christopher Dudlik (Gary Gessner), and his daughter Tracy Hyer(Brian).

The hardest thing he had to do was to leave his adored grandchildren Edward Dudlik III (Merasi), Matthew Dudlik (Carla), John Martin (Jacquie), Thomas Persing (Ashley), James Persing (Bianca) and Stephen Persing.

In 1943 he enlisted in the United States Army Air Corp. and served as a proud Second Lt. and earned his pilot wings. A military honor service will be held at Veterans Memorial Garden in Whitemarsh ,PA. Upon returning to Florida the family will have a Celebration of His Life Party for his friends and family in Florida.
