Edward J. Hagan, 71, of Spanish Lakes I, in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at his home.

Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, he moved to Lake Worth, Florida thirty years ago, coming from Bedford, Massachusetts. He had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for the last twenty years.

Prior to his retirement, he was a swimming pool contractor, working for Pools by Andrews in both Massachusetts and Florida for more than thirty years. He was a a member of the sons of the American Legion.

Ed is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Carole of Port Saint Lucie; one son, David of Massachusetts; two daughters, Cheryle and Tracy both of New Hampshire; one brother, Steven of New Hampshire; two sisters, Joyce of Fort Pierce, Florida and Maureen of Massachusetts; numerous grandchildren; and his faithful Dachshund, "Dixie".

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematoy of Stuart.
