Edward M. Lewis, age 83, of Palm City, FL, passed away on July 8, 2020.  He was born in Newark, NJ and had been a resident of Florida for 23 years coming from Rivervale, NJ.

Prior to retiring, he served 11 years as the CEO and President of Bergen Pines County Hospital in Paramus, NJ, the 9 ^th largest non-federal hospital in the country.

He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a medic in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Eileen (Phalen) Lewis.

Survivors include his wife Patricia Lewis; his sons, Brian (Elaine), Daren (Jordana), 3 grandchildren, Erin, Jordan and Dante and his sister, Sheila Garaffa.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, Stuart, FL.
