Edward "Eddie" Sitrin, 89, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on October 8, 2019 at Port St. Lucie Nursing and Restorative Care Center.

Born in Utica, New York, he had been a resident of "The Cascades" in St. Lucie West for 15 years previously residing in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Before retiring he was a buyer for the National Auto Store in Utica, NY for over 40 years.

Eddie was an athlete, most of all he enjoyed playing tennis and downhill skiing. In 1948, he won the Upstate New York Junior Singles Tennis Championship.  He also enjoyed playing bocce and known as "Fast Eddie", by his pool mates.

Eddie and Beverly traveled extensively. Their favorite trip was taking the family on a Caribbean cruise for his 80 ^th birthday.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Ruth "Beverly" Sitrin; his son, Marc Elliott Sitrin of Denver Colorado; his daughter, Gail Ellen Allan and her husband Andrew of Rochester, NY; his grandchildren Jeffrey Stubits and Amy Lico and her husband Joe.

The family will receive friends at Eddie's home from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM on October 20, 2019, to celebrate his life.
