Edward Karl Starstrom, 84 years young, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.
Born in Bayridge, Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Flushing, New York at the age of five and has been a resident of Port Saint Lucie, since 1989, coming from Rockland County, New York.
Ed married his beloved wife, Rosemarie on October 19, 1958. He honorably served his Country as a member of the United States Army. He then went to work for AT&T Telephone Company (Ma Bell).
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Port Saint Lucie.
An avid golfer, he loved to play every chance he was able to. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved dabbling in his garden.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Rosemarie; two sons, Jeffrey and his wife, Gina, and Paul and his wife, Abby; one daughter, Karen and her husband, Michael; eight grandchildren, Michael and his wife Marina, Amber, Ryan, Ashley, Allison, Evan, Drew, and Lila; and one great-grandchild Lily Ryan.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am.
