Eleanor Marie Cristello passed away on Thursday August 7, 2025.

Eleanor was born in Yonkers, New York to Louis Gene and Augustine Filippi on April 15, 1934. Eleanor was very active as a youth, played the accordion, stayed involved in school activities, worked at her father's restaurant and even marched in the St. Patrick Day Parade in New York City. She graduated from Croton Harmon High School in 1952 and worked as an executive secretary in New York City until she met the love of her life, Joseph Cristello. Eleanor and Joe married on May 5, 1957, when she became a loving and caring housewife and Mother.

She spent the first 60 years of her life in the town she always considered to be her true home, Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Eleanor lived out the remaining years in Sabastian, Florida where she enjoyed a wonderful retirement with Joe. She loved to play golf, was involved with the church, cherished being a grandmother and made many new lifelong friendships.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Cristello and his wife Amanda and three loving grandchildren, Joseph, David and Avery, and many wonderful loving nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her Son Lawrence Cristello, her husband, her brother and her sister.
