Emil Bodo, 85, of Jensen Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.

Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he had been a Florida resident for 20 years, coming from New Jersey.

He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.  Prior to his retirement he was employed by AT&T for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Charlotte Bodo.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Marilyn Bodo of Jensen Beach; two daughters, Lynda Christine Bodo of Rochester, New York, and Lisa Bodo of Mount Tremper, New York; one son, Richard Heroy and his wife, Nancy of Toms River, New Jersey; one sister, Irene Gaul of Red Bank, New Jersey; his grandson Gregory; his granddaughter, Tracy; his great-granddaughter, Ava; and his faithful canine companion, Jenny.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1 ^st , from 1-3:00pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida, where Military Honors by the United State Army Military Honor Guard will be rendered at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions as a memorial may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
