Emil Petagno, 75, of Jensen Beach, Florida, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Martin Medical Center North in Stuart, Florida.

Born in Seaford, New York, he had been a resident of Jensen Beach fo 5 years, coming from Deerfield, Beach, Florida.

Emil honorably served his country as a United State Navy Seal

He was a licensed charter boat captain for many years at the Boca Raton Hotel in Boca Raton, Florida, providing their guests and the general public sports fishing trips off the Florida coast.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Renee Scott, and her husband, Mike, with whom he lived, and Gina Livingston; 2 brothers, Neil and Francis Petagno: and 6 grandchildren, Connor, and Colin Scott, Krista, Ciara, & Jeremiah Livingston, and Christopher Wingenbach.

Emil was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Ranay, who passed away in 2013.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory of Stuart.
