Emilia Danielsen, 83, of Hobe Sound Florida, died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Parkway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stuart, Florida.
Born in Haarlem, the Netherlands, she had been a resident of Hobe Sound for twenty years, coming from Lynbrook, New York.
Prior to her retirement she was a Registered Nurse working for Franklin General Hospital in Valley Stream, New York. Most recently she was a Volunteer at the Martin Memorial Hospital South, in Stuart.
Emilia was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound.
Survivors include her husband of fifteen years, Kermit Jacobs, of Hobe Sound; one son, Eric (Liz) Danielsen, of Saint James, New York; one daughter, Amy Kenneth, of Boca Raton, Florida; three grandchildren, Michael (Kirsti) and William (Rachel) Kenneth, and Jack Danielsen; and one great-grandson, Zachary Kenneth.
A Service to Celebrate her Life will be Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida, where the family will receive friends after 10:30 am.
