Emily Marilyn Braddock, 90, of Palm City, peacefully passed Saturday,

September 4, 2021 at home with loving family by her side.

Born on April 13, 1931 in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of Charles and Daisy Garbett. She grew up in the Miami area with her 3 sisters. Graduated from Jackson High School in Miami, where she was a majorette with the band. Worked for Southern Bell Telephone Company. She married Jack M Braddock after high school, was a homemaker raising three children. Her hobbies were sewing, collecting seashells, stained glass and crafts, sharing her talents with family, grandchildren, and friends. Party planning was her forte and always created a lovely venue, so generous with her talents and time. She was a member of North Stuart Baptist Church.

Marilyn's survivors include her loving children, Emily A Braddock, Jeff Braddock, and Lou Allingham (Joel Richard Allingham) cherished grandchildren, Joel Robert Allingham, Sarah Ann Braddock and Maryann B. Hughes, sweet great granddaughters, Lilly Hughes, and Sarina Braddock.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jack M Braddock, her sisters, Vivian Williams, Virginia Hays, and Frances Dias.

Committal Service will be held at 11am, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, 1501 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL
